Melt chocolate and cool to lukewarm.
Combine wafers, pecans, 2/3 cup sugar in deep bowl.
Pour in chocolate, bourbon and corn syrup, stir vigorously with wooden spoon.
Scoop by 1 Tbsp ball about 1 inch diameter.
Roll in remaining sugar and place in wide mouth jar. Moisten paper rounds cut to fit lid with bourbon.
Tightly closed, good for 3-4 weeks. Makes about 100.
