My children dance in a Polynesian dance troop called Tevakanui.  They perform at various events like Pure Aloha which occurs twice a year in Las Vegas. Many of the members travel to compete.  The costumes that they wear are elaborate and require a great deal of time and attention to get the details right.  So we are having a Bake Sale that is piggy-backing on a Malasada sale. I am making Jan Hagel, Tea Cakes, and Baklava.
